Renewal Information
The North Dakota State Board of Integrative Health Care License expires each biannual year on December 31st. Please review the online renewal and correct any inaccurate information, so that our database can be updated with your most current information.
Renewals received after December 31st are subject to a late fee, your status will not be updated until all fees are paid.
Continuing Education
All continuing education must be preapproved by the profession’s national board or certifier, or the NDBIHC, be open to the public, and designed to increase competencies in the area you are licensed in.
Continuing education must meet the profession’s national board or certifier requirements, and fall into the requirements set by the state of North Dakota. If the national level recertification occurs every 4 years, half of the required hours are due at the time of state professional relicensing.
Those who have graduated and received a diploma in the current year are not required to provide proof of continuing education units to renew a license.

Licensure Renewal Card
Once you have submitted your renewal the form will be sent to the board for approval. Once the board has reviewed and approved your renewal you will receive an email letting you know and then you may go to the website and print an updated licensure renewal card for your records. The card will reflect the updated expiration date.
